About us

Our mission

We are the voice of young researchers and support engaged young people and young adults in every facet of their work in science.

We raise awareness and recognition in society for the work and challenges of young people in science.
Through cooperation with universities, companies and organisations, we provide our members with know-how and the resources they need.
Through events and training, we help our members build knowledge and explore the Austrian and international research landscape from different perspectives.

Our team

Our association is carried by nearly 60 committed volunteers who contribute their time and skills across many areas. Whether organising events, supporting our members or delivering projects – everyone makes a valuable contribution to the ForJu community.

Youth protection

As an association we place great importance on protecting and supporting our young members. Our youth protection officers develop concepts that ensure a safe and supportive environment and monitor compliance. They are not only responsible for planning and implementing youth protection, but are also available for questions or concerns at any time. Please do not hesitate to contact us!
